Russia will continue sending humanitarian aid to Donbass in 2018

Russian rescuers will continue the mission for providing humanitarian assistance to residents of the Donbass, the head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations Vladimir Puchkov said on Tuesday.

"The 71th humanitarian convoy allowed us to organize specific targeted assistance to large families, elderly people, children, in the minimum necessary volume to restore infrastructure, energy, water supply systems and all that is required by the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. We have the same plans for 2018, humanitarian assistance will be implemented," Puchkov said.
