'United Donbass Fund' approves monetary assistance to 52 Donbass residents

A commission of the 'United Donbass Fund'  held the sixth session, following the results of which, 52 applications for receiving monetary assistance totaling about 1,5 million rubles were approved, Fund Chairman Oleg Balykin states. 

“On July 14, the sixth session of Fund Commission devoted to rendering assistance to residents who have a difficult life situation took place. 352 cases were considered at the session. 52 statements were approved, 27 of them from the DPR residents and 25 from those who live on a temporarily Kiev controlled part of the Donetsk region,” pointed out Balykin. 

He added that the total sum of an approved monetary assistance was over 1, 470,00 rubles. An average payment amounts to about 28 thousand rubles to one recipient. Payments according to the sixth protocol will begin already next week. 

It should be noted that 'United Donbass Fund' began its work in the Donetsk People's Republic on March 9, 2017 in the frames of realization of the Donbass people reunification and assistance to fellow countrymen program which was adopted by the DPR and LPR Heads. 

Assistance is rendered both by means of monetary payment and of products, medical supplies, including those from the residents of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). 

Nine categories have a right to be provided with assistance. 

Physically-challenged people, single mothers and fathers with under-age children, families with three and more under-age children, citizens from 65 years old and others are among them.
