Zakharchenko: 'Over 7,000 damaged houses restored in the DPR'
During the conflict, the authorities of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) have restored more than seven thousand residential houses which were damaged as a result of military hostilities, the DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko stated this at the solemn event devoted to the Builder’s Day on August 10.
“The figures which I’m going to announce cannot be analyzed: over 7,000 houses were restored in the Republic,” pointed out Alexander Zakharchenko.
He also reminded that 134 new houses had been built on the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) since the beginning of the military hostilities.
In turn, DPR Construction, Housing and Utilities Minister Sergei Naumets pointed that at that moment more than 26,000 houses had been destroyed or damaged by the shelling on the part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
